This card started out to be many things but never got "there". Here are a couple that got "here" though. These cards are inspired by both the Teapot challenge to mask and the CAS challenge to use trees.
Initially cut a mask with the HA oval die and used the negative cut to ink blend the oval background. The first tree (green) is straight forward. Just added the tree and sentiment and layered on olive green cs. For the second tree card (white tree), I die cut a slightly smaller oval frame using Spellbinders and then embossed the pine boughs. Colored the rhinestones and dental floss with Copic and assembled card. Added a second die-cut tree. Only glued down the trunk and lifted the branches for a bit of a 3D effect. The hardest part of that card was getting that stupid bow tied. Clumsy fingers here. LOL.
As usual, I might not have gotten to the exact destination I was dreaming about, but I enjoyed the journey and found a couple nice spots (cards) along the way. I hope you enjoy your artistic journey today too. TFL

Both beautiful! The colors on the masked ovals, fabulous. The simple tree on both makes for an excellent design. EF on BG and jewels, smashing details.

Beautiful cards!!!! I'm going to call you an overachiever for creating these 'two' beauties! You've fulfilled both challenges wonderfully too, what more could a challenger ask for? Awesome job! TFS
