My submission for the Teapot Tuesday challenge of using a masking technique. I've done lots of masking in my day, covering an image with post-it notes to create a scene but thought I'd try masking the section with the sentiment this time. It was a bit more tricky than I thought it would be. I masked old man winter with a post-it note, sponged the blue and stamped silver snowflakes, then added the sentiment stamped three times. I'll try this again when I have a bit more time and energy. Enjoy!

First - I love your old man winter image - I've never seen anything like that before (maybe because I live in the desert - lol) Very effective use of masking to create a band to highlight your sentiment.

What a fun card. .etme tell you, the cold north wind was blowing here last week, and is forecast to do so again tomorrow. It took down lots of trees and branches, but did not bring very much snow. I love your pretty silver embossed snowflakes.

I like this - it makes me think of the wind blowing, only it's snowflakes. Great effect. We have a tutorial for bordered sentiment which requires masking a strip off, and I must say I've never had any trouble with it.

And here is yet another fan of that great Old Man Winter stamp. How unique and fun. I love that he is blowing all those beautiful snowflakes around. I hadn't thought of masking for a sentiment strip, but I really like the look so I'll have to give it a try sometime. Thanks for a great card and some inspiration.
