In honor of Snietje we are trying the Delft Tile technique today. I must say, sponging is not something that I'm good at and my tiles have way too much blue sponged around them, but I wanted to do a card for Anita who is stepping down from the TLC team. So, here's to you, Anita! TLC877 ~ A Tribute to Snietje ~ 12/13/2021 by jkanack at Splitcoaststampers

I think you are too hard with yourself, this card is absolutely perfect for the Delft tile technique, and I love your center piece and sponging!!, Thank you MF

I beg to differ!!!!!!! Remember, these were handmade tiles in real life and I'm sure they weren't perfect either. I actually have some old Dutch tiles, not delft, that I bought at a flea market. Not perfect by any means!!!!!! I think this is so pretty!!!!!!

Your tile background is perfect! Really like your idea of the tiny oval layer with your sentiment.
