Lisa has challenged us to send cards to her nephew, William, who is a sailor. She asked us to add a smile or an envelope to our project. I fussy cut this clipart sailor who is wearing a big smile. For the Ways to Use It challenge, Sabrina asked us to use non traditional colors or tools on our Christmas cards. I used patriotic colors and a non traditional embossing folder to make this card. Thank you, Lisa and Sabrina, for these fun challenges!
I embossed my white panel with the woodgrain folder and added a red mat. I die cut and punched stars to form a wreath as a backdrop for my smiling sailor. I adhered the red white and blue die cut across the wreath and sailor. I added sparkle to this die cut with Wink of Stella. I printed out patriotic clipart to form the matching banner along the bottom of the card.

Oh my gosh I love this image and I love the great patriotic feel to this card. Great fussy cutting of the image too. Thank you so much for taking the time to send my sweet nephew a card. This card will certainly bring a big smile to him and I am forever grateful to all my crafty friends sending him happy mail.

I have to say I agree with everyone above...amazing, brilliant, knocked it out of the park, love this! It is a brilliant design with the star wreath, patriotic colors and that fabulous clipart. Awesome card and a sure smiler getter for William.
