I stamped and masked the cranes. One card, they are embossed, the other one was my initial trial run with no embossing, but I didn't want to waste it. Foreground sponged in with torn paper as a mask, and milled lavender. Bamboo background stencilled in with green and some touches of gold. I cut around the beaks so that I could tuck the banner sentiment in.

You have such a great mind for creativity, Sabrina. Thanks for your work bringing us new ideas and challenges and then so beautifully creating the perfect samples to get our juices flowing. I LOVE how your two elegant feathered friends are sending wishes. Harmony!

This actually makes me think of some of the cards I received from Japan each Christmas - wonderful oriental look and having your entwined cranes holding the sentiment is brilliant.

What a fun image to use for a different Christmas card Sabrina. This is certainly one I would never have thought to try as a Christmas card. Nicely done.

Super take on the challenge! I luv that you fussy cut around the beaks so they could hold the sentiment banners. Thesoft lavender sponging is a pretty, soft touch of color.

Sabrina, this card is special to me because my husband and I have a fondness for cranes and live only three hours away from the International Crane Foundation in Wisconsin where we can see the fifteen different kinds of cranes. We visit there often. I love how the two on your card are holding the Merry Christmas banner.
