This is my sample for CC873. Karen is our hsotess and she chose blushing bride, mint macaron and crumb cake for her color trio. Dessert option this week is bling.
For my background I used designer paper from the Stampin'-Up "whimsy & wonder" collection. It is a beautiful collection of metallic papers. And I forgot when I selected it that metallics are hard to get a good photo.
I had my sample finished last night but the metallic took on gold and blue tones in my photos. The metallic is actually silver. After many retakes I finally gave up and thought I would wait till morning and try natural light.
The photo is better, but I am still not happy with it. But it's time to post my card!!! Thanks for listening to my saga (lol)!!!
My angel ornament is a new die from CottageCutz. I backed it with glitter paper for part of the bling dessert.
I stamped my sentiment in soft suede on some crumb cake paper from an old PP Kit. Added some mint macaron enamel dots and my card is finished.

What a sweet little angel in your ornament, Mary! I love the sparkle paper behind it, too. I love that the background DS paper features smaller ornaments; they really pull the design together! So pretty!

Darling ornament and I love the sparkle behind it. The dp is lovely and has a sweet, whimsical feel to it. Your little angel looks beautiful nestled in amongst those other ornaments. Wonderful Holiday card.

This is really pretty, Mary! Knowing this paper I imagine that the iridescence of the DSP really complements the glittered paper in your ornament. This is such a good idea and ... I commend you for being able to cut into that particular pattern!
