For this week's Teapot Tuesday, Janet challenged us to use zoo animals. I turned to a little-used Autumn Leaves set I have that has several cute wild animals in it and settled on the lion. I created a little scene with the lion under a palm tree, then decided to get creative and use a circle die and out-of-the box cut. That is the biggest out-of-the-box I've ever done, and it was a little tricky. Then, to add another trick, I decided to use glitter to represent sand (since I found the double-sided adhesive that was hiding last time I needed it.) The sentiment is white-embossed and popped up.

Wow, I can see why this was tricky but great work cutting the circle but keeping the palm fronds intact! Love your friendly lion and sparkly sand as well!

Loved the way the palm tree is “out of the box”. Never tried this technique - for me it feels like it is a disaster just waiting to happen. I must be brave (like your cute little lion) and try it.
