A King of the Jungle for one of the Queens of Stamping!! This is for the Call of the Wild Teapotter Challenge and what a fun one it is!! I used blending brushes to create the sunset behind the star of our card. I colored him with colored pencil then popped him up on foam risers. Stamped the sentiment, fussy cut it out and then sponged the edges. At the end it seemed like something was missing so I added the tree in the background. Janet - I watched a baby giraffe being born on you tube several years ago and it is an amazing experience!! That poor mama...those are some looooong legs!!

I was looking at this earlier, but was working at the time and didn't get to leave a comment before it was time to join a zoom meeting again. Very fine and handsome indeed. I like the very subtle texture in the background and in the lion, and then that super shading and blending in the sun.

Fantastic lion!! I am seeing a lot of great minds thinking alike in this challenge. I love the sunset behind him, you created this beautifully!!
