It's the 28th of the month again! (How does this happen so quickly?!?!) This is the day we find treasures in our stash that we can use to make a card. (No shopping!) It's Challenge Your Stash day! Kari is our hostess, and she has asked us to "reuse/recycle/repurpose."
I rescued a corrugated box from my recycle container, cut a rectangle, peeled off the top layer, and used that panel as part of my card. I brayered some white paint on top, just to bring out the texture a bit more, then added a palm frond. The base layer was run through my machine with the Subtle embossing folder. I added a greeting from my Small Talk booklet. I thought the "live simply" message went well with the recycled panel, so I didn't add any bling to my card.
