A big congrats to Sue, the newest Featured Stamper (FS773)! She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I loved the bright poinsettias & gold embossing so I kept those, but I used different images, dies & turned mine horizontal.
My cheerful Christmas card was done by stamping the holly berries all around the white bg then coloring them in w/ Copics. I used a pale green strip for the band across it & I had to do this in two steps: first I put it into my Misti, stamped w/ black, then colored in the leaves & holly. Since it was still in my Misti, I stamped it again using the gold ink, then coated w/ gold powder & heat embossed it. The greeting was also gold embossed. I used the smallest poinsettia die to cut my flowers, using a darker red for the bottom & slightly lighter for the top.
Thanks so much for looking. I apologize for not being around to comment, but I'm out of town & will return next week. It's on my blog w/ Copic colors & links: The Write Stuff

Wow, Julie this is stunning! So many pretty, festive details - the dimension on the berries, the gold centres in your poinsettia die cuts. Gorgeous, classic-feeling Christmas card!

I love this pretty contrast that the reds and white make. Such a beautiful card.
