For the Inspiration Challenge (IC834), weâre visiting the Jolly Christmas Shop & Pinterest Board where I found THIS lovely picture.
I started w/ an alcohol ink bg I made. I thought the colors would be pretty for a winterâs night scene. Instead of stamping the trees w/ black, I gold embossed them. The greeting was added using black ink & was black embossed before masking it to stamp & gold emboss the falling snow & Christmas star. A fancy mirror gold frame was added.
Thanks so much for looking. Itâs on my blog w/ more pics & links: The Write Stuff

gorgeous, Julie! Your background reminds me of the Astronomy Picture of the Day photos of x-ray color enhanced galaxies. I could happily be lost in yours. The gold trees are a treat and a nice change from the black forests! The use of the negative fancy frame for a portion of the edge is a genius touch.

Your cards always make me so happy, Julie. Your gilded winter wonderland in this one is amazing. I love the gorgeous sky and the gold frame makes all the elements come together beautifully. Your designs are always incredible. You have a gift!
