I am enjoying the CC but today's colors were a little bright for me, so I toned them down. No dessert for me.
So here is my recipe: Joggles used to have what they called 'Art Parts', diecut shapes of watercolor paper. I loved them but they don't have them any longer. The grove of trees is one of those art parts but the negative space that I used for a stencil. I sprayed four DOx sprays through...a reddish, a goldish and a couple of greens. Ok, I like how that turned out but now what to do!? I used night of navy for the sky and surrounding area, applying it very lightly with a TH blending brush. Stenciled some small stars and the word peaceful with 'non', diecut some stars out of some gold paper, and added a few gold dots on the trees which are hard to see. I guess you could say I did my own thing.

Doing your own thing is always good IMO! I love the way these trees look with the combined sprays and your greeting is perfect. Love the NON for your neutral sky background; it goes perfectly with the color of your trees.

So creative! Love it that you did your own thing. The stenciled, sprayed trees look amazing. The stars are a nice touch. Nicely done with the challenge colors.

Beautiful with all the artsy elements. The stenciling looks great for your trees. You have a very creative mind, and your cards are always originals for us to enjoy. This card does have a peaceful feel to it. We could all use that now days. TFS
