Mary has some beautiful Christmas colors for us this week - a real classic combination!
I saw something similar on Pinterest - a wreath with a black and white paper behind it. Since I couldn't find any holiday DSP in the correct colors I thought "perfect"! Unfortunately I couldn't find the black & white pattern I wanted. I could swear that there is a fairly recent black & white cross-hatch type pattern from Stampin' Up. If there is - I couldn't find mine. In any case I went with this retired stripe. It's a bit bold so I layered some vellum under my wreath to soften it.
And if you're looking for my Mango Melody - look closely in the center of the poinsettia. I used a circle of it behind the the open dots in the center of the flower. But I felt it needed something more so I added colored rhinestones on top. Don't know exactly what color they are but they are very close to the Mango!
I hope you will join us this week. I know it can be hectic with Thanksgiving, but this challenge is a great way to make a few Christmas cards!

Jeanne I love the black and white stripe background! Your poinsettia with it's Mango Melody center is perfect for the challenge too... great idea! Awesome design! TFS
Jeanne, I love your modern take on the traditional Christmas wreath. The black and white striped scalloped layer pops on the white background and really shows off your wreath and poinsettia. I LOVE IT!
