I came across this Origami Gift Card Holder tutorial that I'd saved on Pinterest. It was actually very easy to do. I used a burgundy gingham paper for the outer portion. Many people may not identify this color with Fall, but around here in East Texas, it can be a common color. I also felt the gingham pattern gave it a cozy, Fall flannel shirt vibe. I used blue patterned paper to line it, and adhered a teal ribbon (clear blue skies, anyone?) along the outside to tie it shut. There is room in the pocket on the other side for another gift card or a little mini note.
