I took my inspiration basicly from the color palette in Dina's challenge, as well as the images of the rocking horse in the circle around the girl in the picture.
I sized the image in Photoshop as per the sketch I'd chosen, & printed it onto a scrap of vellum bristol paper. I used my Prismacolor pencils to color it in. I die cut it with a circle die, & used the next die up to cut a beige cardstock mat.
I cut my patterned paper panels to size, & marked where the upper edge of the bottom one would land on my card base. I used that as a guide to adhere a strip of green cardstock to peek through the patterned papers. Finally, I adhered my patterned papers & matted focal image in place.
