The wheat and string were die cut. I used a brown pencil to emphasize the wheat grains and then blended various colors to achieve the look I wanted. I adhered the dsp to the cardbase. The sentiment was stamped on vellum in my MISTI with gold Encore and then embossed. The wheat and string were glued together and adhered to the vellum. The ATG glue was used behind the wheat and sentiment and attached on top of the dsp. I created an envelope with a couple of wheat stems for decoration.
Thanks so much for looking!

Oh my ... this is such a beautifully soft background, and it's fabulous with the gold sentiment! Having come from OK's wheat & cattle country, the wheat immediacy takes me to sweet thoughts of home.
