This card is for today's Alphabet challenge B is for bird and also for Ann's Falliday challenge to have a cardinal.
I have been hoarding this glorious background that was gifted to me by Karen, it was perfect for this card. The bird was also a gift from Kandie, I think, and I colored it like a cardinal though it doesn't have the tuft on the top of its head. I wanted to frame it with the oval frame and added the vellum so he wouldn't get lost on that background. Three little white flowers with Copic detail, and a glittery Merry Christmas completed the card...oh, and I added glitter pen to the bird. A strip from the background has been added to the inside as well. I'm so happy to have these two gifted items on this card, thank you ladies!
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Gorgeous card Catherine. I always like traditional Xmas colours together. I must be the only person who doesn’t have a cardinal craft item lol. TFS. Happy day
