As I was making my way through my basement yesterday (mucho stuff!), I walked past my pile of fabric and saw the bird flannel. Well, I said to myself, that would be cute for the ABC16B2-B is for Bird challenge and it certainly would be 'cozy, warm and fuzzy' to use flannel for tea party for Joyce, Mac's friend. I hate to think about the future sometimes; I could be Joyce, as I live alone.
So easy to attach fabric to cardstock with glue and emboss with an embossing folder. This morphed into a slim line because the pattern was so large and I wanted a little border at the bottom. Found this old SU dsp in my stash so there you go!!!

So cool! I've never thought of embossing fabric...great idea. I really like the bit of plaid at the bottom so go with the birdies. Sounds like you're finding lots of stuff in your basement...what will you find next?

unbelievably beautiful. I've never tried using cloth, but this card encourages me - as well as it'll encourage Joyce. That twine is the perfect touch ! Thank you so much.

Fabulous find. Love your bird flannel and the embossing. This is most certainly a warm wish for a bird lover.
I know what you mean about thinking about the future sometimes. And, living with someone doesn't always make it less scary, just different scary. Hugs.
