Another Christmas card featuring, Roo, Blinky Bill and the Easter Bilby - rabbits are considered a huge pest here in Australia so instead of Easter bunnies we have Easter Bilbies - a very cute little creature with huge ears.
I die cut the eucalyptus lease with the Paper Rose die and cut it again using a water colour background for the coloured leaves. Stamped and embossed the animals and coloured them with water colour pencils before fussy cutting them out. I used a piece of eucalyptus design paper from Paper Rose for the background.

This I just love. The eucalyptus for is beautiful. We had one in the garden where I grew up, the only tree my brother and I could never climb from the ground, though we could climb into it from neighbouring trees. The little Christmas critters are cute. I'd never heard of a bilby, though I did know rabbits are pests.

This is great! I love the water colored eucalyptus leaves set over the patterned background. The pops of color of the critters amongst the leaves are perfect. I love the little Australian critters that are a treat to see to these American eyes!
