Our teapot Tuesday challenge today is to illustrate something warm. I tried my hand at a paper quilting technique, something I've not done before. No warm colours here but hopefully this inspires coziness anyway.
We had our first snow of the season on the weekend. Usually the first snow is here by Halloween and often melts away but this time snow arrived late and it is here to stay. We got a huge snow dump over a three day period, highways closed due to whiteout conditions. I planned my travels carefully and kept busy at home. It seems like a perfect time to have a pajama day, wrapped in blankets with cocoa in hand, binge watching or reading. Hope you are all safe and cozy. Enjoy!

What a wonderful bear heading to hibernate. And one of my all-time favourite embossing folders, too. Winnipeg didn't make the news, but I was reading about the storm in BC. It's still unseasonably mild here...not sure that's a good thing.

I love how your quilted bg turned out....so cool! Great card to show warmth. Sounds like a good plan to stay inside in pjs and have fun creating. We've just had a dusting of snow...it's melted now. Not looking forward to a bigger storm yet.

Great quilting and I think that cute bear agrees as he looks like he's off to enjoy a warm cozy nap with it. Pajama day with warm cocoa sounds like a good alternative to being outside right now. Stay warm and stay safe.

I have the same quilting technique on my card! I thought it was a fun technique. That adorable bear in his pjs is the perfect image for this. He looks ready to curl up in this quilt for a cozy night.
