Lisa gave us a great Falliday challenge to use our scraps. I punched 1 1/4" squares from scraps of three different Christmas designer papers. I glued them to a thin piece of white paper and then die cut it with the Top Note die, fussy cutting the edge off this piece. I then dry embossed it with the Star embossing folder. I die cut the gold foil paper with the same die to provide a mat layer.
For some extra shine, I splattered some gold acrylic paint on the card base. I wrapped gold cord around the Top Note panel and adhered it to the card base. I sponged the three trees (thanks for the gift, Ann) with Shaded Spruce ink and added them to the card front adding the back one directly, one with one layer of foam tape, and the last with two layers. I heat embossed the sentiment and fussy cut it, adding it with foam tape as well.
Thanks for the challenge, Lisa, and thanks for looking!
