I stamped the squirrels, candy cane, & tree onto vellum bristol scraps. I die cut them with the coordinating dies, then colored them with my Prismacolor pencils.
I cut 3 squares as per the sketch from blue "Watercolor Wishes" paper. I also cut a strip of yellow-orange paper to 5" long, and die cut it with a "Grassy Fields" die. I cut that into three 1-1/2" sections, cutting out a 1/4" gap between each, so the grass would appear continuous from square to square. I adhered the grass to the squares, & glued down my images. (In case you're wondering why I used dead grass instead of snow, these are Texas squirrels!)
To make the squirrels a bit more holiday-ish, I pierced holes on either side of their necks, & threaded through some red perl cotton. I tied a knot, to make a scarf for each, and glued the most flyaway end of each to the panel.
I adhered a piece of patterned paper to a burgundy cardstock panel, & glued a green strip above & below that. Finally, I added my image panels, & adhered the card front to a white card base. I really had fun with this!
