This is for this week's Tea Party Challenge - Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone. The party this week is for John, MaryJo's son who is going through rehab after a bad break.
I always admire those who create such beautiful scenes on their cards - this is out of my comfort zone - but I had a go today. I stamped the trees, using the Stamp-A-Majic as an aid. Stamped Gorgeous Grunge stamp for the dirt road. Sponged, die cut fence. Fussy cut the hiker and kangaroo and adhered, using dimensionals.
I like how this kangaroo is observing the hiker from a short distance. TFL!

Terrific card with the scene you created. You wouldn't think you are out of your comfort zone. Very clever the stamps you used for the scene. He will enjoy this card. TFS

WOW you did a great job with this scene Sue! Wonderful use of colors on the trees, grass and sky. Glad that the kangaroo is keeping his distance from the hiker...don't want any accidents ...lol

I always like that Gorgeous Grunge stamp for a road. The fence and trees look great. It will be such fun for John to receive such a very Australian card all the way from Down Under.

Well, you should do scenes more often as this one is fabulous. I, too, love your creative use of the grunge stamp for the road, but it's your beautiful ink blending that caught my eye along with those fabulous trees in the bg. I love that you used a kangaroo with your hiker. I agree with Sabrina, how fun for John to receive a very Australian card. Fantastic card.
