Our Tea Party this week is for MaryJo's (aka Icela52) son who broke his ankle and has to "stay still" for 12 weeks. Not fun at all. John loves his motorcycle and camping and I can't think of a better way to see the beauty of the mountains then riding through the trees on a bike.
I have had these papers forever and I love the soft greens in both. I printed the sentiment on the computer using The Friday Strokes font then glued the die cut trees. I stamped the bike on a piece of scrap dp and fussy cut it. On the card base, I stamped the bg with DOX just for a bit of texture.
I kept my dp paper larger than I needed while I was assembling everything, but it still fooled my eye. After I cut everything down, I wished it was all a bit higher up on the dp. Oh well, hopefully John will be so enamored with the pines that he won't notice.
I hope John enjoys all the cards and paper hugs coming his way this week and that he remembers to be kind to himself and "stay still". I hope you remember to be kind to yourself this week too. TFL.

Debbie I know for sure John is going to love your card and the pines. Outside is his favorite place to be not stuck in the house. I am being kind to myself also. Thank you for caring.

John is going to be itching to get out on his motorcycle with this wonderful card. Hopefully he'll follow dr's orders and take it easy. I love your green bg paper...really pretty.

Love the look of your background paper and green is my fave color. Well, I like all colors, but you know what I mean, lol. Those are wonderful tree dies and your fussy cut motorcycle is really fun with that sentiment!

Love the font on your wonderful sentiment .... also love your stamped envelope pattern on your card front! Great encouraging card for John!

I always like script papers, that's a lovely one and certainly provides a very relaxing setting. We cruised the hills a bit last week, it was lovely to get out even if our mountains are dwarves beside some of your ranges!
