This color challenge is to use Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce (substituted Garden Green) and Gold. Dessert is Christmas theme. I thought, with these colors, there would be a lot of poinsettias but I only saw one so far and it was white. I cut the glitter paper to 4 X 5.25 and then used my cutter to cut out a rectangle in the middle leaving a 1/2" wide frame. I just hate to waste that paper by covering it up!! I die cut the poinsettia and put it together and glued it down flat for mailing. Then I stamped the sentiment in gold. I added 3 square red gems in the corner and that's it. Thanks for taking a peek!!!

Lovely! Beautiful poinsettia with the gold sparkly center. The gold frame and red gems are fabulous additions. Love the sentiment. I could have used that one on my card. Great job with the colors and the Christmas theme.

I don't blame you for saving that beautiful glittery paper; I do the same thing. Beautifully embossed poinsettia and leaves and your sentiment is very touching. I actually started coloring one for this challenge, but I didn't like how it was looking so scrapped that idea, otherwise there would have been another poinsettia in the gallery.
