Barbara has challenged us to create today using beautiful colors today: Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Gold.
The Dessert this week is Christmas.
This card uses Copic markers for my colors: Cherry Cobbler R37, R39; Shaded Spruce-G28 ; Gold Y15 and YR23. For neutrals, I used E42 Crumb Cake, E44 Soft Suede and Navy B97 and B99. The gold is used for the beak and legs.
I found a video or two online for doing this technique, one by Patty Bennett. I used the AI using the Copics and her recommendation was to color the background (Navy) on the back so it does not muddy the colors. So, that is what I did.
I am also combining this card with the Falliday challenge AI technique- it's 5 O'
clock somewhere : )

Shelly what a super technique, thank you for sharing the tip that Patty suggested. It's a marvelous idea and looks fantastic on your cardinal design! I must say, you're an overachiever on creating two cards this week (wink, wink,) I love it! So happy you are the team this month!

Cool technique...I would never have guessed that you used navy on the back. Pretty cardinal....it looks very snowy in your scene....a preview of things to come....
