Ema has some seriously great coloring skills and I don't, so I chose a cute scene she made with a turtle, but changed it to a lizard hiding in some cactus. I embossed my BG, in place of patterned paper and die cut my scene using some of the cute whittle dies by Poppystamps. Everything was cut from some distress oxide BG's I'd created. I left off the clouds Ema had and just used a sun. Here's her cute card.

Sue, I love so many things about this card. The papers you used are fabulous in those great desert colors, the dies are fabulous, and the whole card is just happy and cool (or hot as it is the desert - lol). Super case and card. Hugz

This scene is so adorable and you chose all the right elements to combine. Your ef is a wonderful bg and has a southwest feel even though it's not. Love, love, love all the cute dies and that you cut them out of dox bgs. Love the dox blended layer too. Glad you left off the cloud because this is most definitely one sunny, happy scene. Awesome card.
