Been ages since I colored and I couldnât find my markers so I went with pencils for this cute Penny Black image. I followed the outside the box die cutting tutorial to cut out the image then cut a larger circle from the red snowflake paper to back it. I attached the image to the larger circle then attached the larger circle with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white and cut it out with a banner die. It looked a little stubby so I cut the straight end of the die from a scrap of the snowflake paper and added it to the white banner. I wrapped it with baker twine, ied a bow, and attached the sentiment with foam tape.
Fun technique, very well explained! Thanks!

Aw, so sweet! And the out-of-the-box is a fab treatment for the tree. The car reminds me of the little 3-wheeler bubble cars my parents used to have, I can just about remember my dad bringing us out in his.

Brilliant idea to have the tree be the element that can't be contained in the die cut! We always begged my Dad to get the biggest tree we could find - resulting in much cutting once we got it home! The pencil gives a sweet, innocent feel to the image!
