For Dina's Falliday Fest '21 challenge I used the gold, orange, yellow, white, and dark green shown in the vintage magazine cover.
This is the front of the wedding card for my oldest son who is getting married in 11 days. The card is made -- in part -- from upcycling their Fall-themed wedding invitation. The gorgeous Fall background paper of the card is actually the back side of the wedding invitation. The 3 shimmery, metallic gold flowers/stems are cut from the outside of the invitation envelope. And the 3 muted lilac/mauve flowers are cut from the invitation envelope's lining.
Adhere wedding invitation to the front of a pre-made A7 cream cards. Trim edges flush with card front. Lightly sponge edges with timber brown ink. Die cut and emboss a decorative edge white rectangular panel and adhere to center of card front. Die cut (and stamp, some) wildflowers, stems, and sprigs from various cardstock and from portions of the wedding invitation envelope and liner. Arrange flowers/stems/sprigs on card front over white panel. Adhere with dimensional foam tape and glue dots.
Stamp "Together" sentiment from SU Word on Word set using SU Close to Cocoa ink. Cut out with deckle-edge scissors and sponge edges with timber brown ink. Adhere to card front with dimensional foam tape. Thanks for looking!
