Pat's Teapot Tuesday (MMTPT693~November 2, 2021~Something Old, Something New by casep at Splitcoaststampers) challenge was very timely for me, as I received a package on Saturday.
My old - the DP used for the bellyband (sorry I couldn't show it better, by the time the Stickles had dried on the front panels, it was too dark for another photo), and the gel print from my stash. And the MFT Typewriter alphabet stamp set!
New, the Sizzix Texture roll for the leaves, and the Leane Creatief ladybirds.
Gatefold card (included in the package). I trimmed the gates off another one, cut them down slightly, embossed with DoCrafts Abstract Thistle and edged with Stickles for the front panels.
The belly band is one of those old packs of Recollections 12x12 papers, with a friendship theme, and I added a die-cut ladybird.
Inside, I used a leafy gel print from my stash. The Wacky Transport bus was cut from red card. I stamped a load of ladybirds, coloured them and cut them into little squares to fill the windows in the bus. I also stamped and fussy-cut the ladder, and two more ladybirds - one to hold the ladder (safety first) and one who is carrying the last letter to add to the thank you.
Originally I thought I had dies small enough to use die-cut letters, but when that failed, I used an old MFT set, stamping the typewriter keys in green and the letters in black.
The leaves that the bus is parked on were cut with the SU Autumn Accents Bigz, from a white Sizzix texture roll. I used Brusho sprays (gold, red, lemon), and a copper gel pen to add the veins.

I really enjoyed looking at those bugs peeking out of the bus windows ..... especially loved the bug holding the ladder and the one placing the final letter for your sentiment! Such creativity and so much fun!
