My card reflects the beginning of my tea pot days when I was 6. Once a week my uncle would have tea with me when i wasn't having tea with my doll and teddy bear.
When i moved to the Beach the tea pots evolved into lighthouse tea pots. One is the lighthouse in Niagara, NY the other is a replica of Thomas shoal Point lighthouse in, MD.then I started collecting lighthouses. I have a 3 foot one outside in front of my fireplace.
To this day, sometimes I will have a lunch with a few good friends and we will have a tea party. Before COVID we had a shop where we could do dress up with hats and a boa and have finger sandwiches and pastries. We took the girls there and played dressup when they visited.
I used my blending brushes in red, orange and yellew to dry brush the embossing folder.
The die cuts are from my Silhouette 4 collection.

Your pre-Covid teas sound like the ones Barb ( who was a destination in July last year) had told me about. Your card is just sweet, great illustration of a lovely story.

Loved hearing the story about how your teapots turned you into a lighthouse collector. And any uncle who'll take tea with a 6-year-old is a special uncle! You've turned that into such a sweet card.

Beautiful card and lovely tribute to your uncle, who took the time to have tea parties with his young niece. Love the background which really pops with the black silhouettes. Very pretty card!
