We were required to make a card using only three colors similar to Close To My Heart colors Sundance, Papaya and Sage. Optional other colors were white, black and silver.
My Stampin' Up! (SU) colors that best matched the three CTMH colors were Crushed Curry, Groovy Guava, and Pear Pizzazz. I also used SU Basic Black, but stamped it off so it appeared more of a gray than pure black.
The beautiful stamp set I used was SU "Forever Fern". I only used 4 stamps for the 11-stamp set... the leaf branch, the berry sprig, the random dots, and the sentiment.
The technique I used is sometimes called "turnabout stamping". It is essentially using a stamp in a stamp positioner, then stamping, rotating your paper, and stamping again around the entire circumference of the shape you are stamping. I chose a circle like a wreath, and used a 2" circle die cut from VERY thin masking paper. After you are done stamping you remove the masking paper and then stamp your sentiment inside the wreath shape.
The card front is white, and it is matted with cardstock the same colors as the inks that were used.
I am rating the difficulty level as a "2" out of a possible "5". It is possible to do this technique without a stamp positioner, but after trying three times and tossing the results, I found the positioner made it MUCH easier! I plan to send this card to a lady who is undergoing chemo therapy and seems always to bounce back after each rough week. If you are interested in becoming a "chemo angel" and being assigned a patient to send cards to each week, please don't hesitate to check them out at https://www.chemoangels.com/

Very pretty. Wonderful design with the masking in the center and the stamping around. I am a Chemo Angels volunteer, too. I'm sure your cards are a blessing for your buddy and your encouragement helps her to bounce back after treatment. Beautiful card for her!
