I don't usually make square cards, so this was experimental. Card base is black cs, layered with metallic gold which I stamped with the sentiment and two musical notations. Used Misti to restamp about 3 times to get darker image. Die cut the Treble Clef from black cs, then heat embossed with a rainbow glitter clear embossing powder. Dug out a pretty piece of Pixie Powder background from my stash, and layered that on black cs, added the die cut, and mounted onto the card base. If I were doing this again, I'd stamp the sentiment & notes in black pigment ink and heat emboss. Even with a Misti, the black ink didn't pop like I would want it to.

The embossing powder on the treble clef (super die!) is fab - it still really pops even with the pixie powder background. And I like the softer effect of the stamping. I found the same thing recently when I tried the faux soot on silver metallic. I'm a big fan of square cards - but at least we don't have to pay any extra to mail square envelopes here.
