This week, our Teapot Tuesday challenge is to showcase something we collect. After 25 years of stamping, my biggest collection is, of course, STAMPS, but since others have already gone there, I decided to pick something else.
I love cats, and while we only have two of the live variety, I have many more made of wood, porcelain, ceramic, metal, whatever - most of which have been gifted to me over the years by our daughter, who thinks I should collect cats and who loves to shop!
Wanting to keep the card uncluttered, I chose to make one Iris folded feline. This further serves to highlight another large and fabulous collection I have of beautiful Washi papers - also given to be by our daughter who frequently travels to Japan (and, did I mention, LOVES to shop? lol).

WOWZA....this is amazing! Your iris folding is fabulous and what a way to show off those pretty papers. You're very fortunate to be on the receiving end of her shopping ;)

Polly kind of took the words right out of my mouth. Love this fabulous card. The iris folding is very interesting inside the cat frame, and those are indeed gorgeous papers your daughter has found.

You have done an amazing job of iris folding ( I bought quite a few books of projects when that was in it's hay day and completed lots of them but now they lie unused.) Love the oriental flair with the use of washi paper ergo this must be a Siamese cat (They're Oriental, aren't they?)

This card beats all! It is especially beautiful! I love cats too - I only have one live one, but many of the other kind too.

I love cats too and that too could develop into a “collection” if I let it. At the moment only two of them - rescues. This is a lovely card and some Teapotter is going to be very happy to receive this.

Great card and I love the paper folding you did. I have 3 kitties and if I thought I could get away with it I would have more. I just love my girls but alas my lap can only hold so many and they all try to snuggle with me. LOL!

Your iris folded cat is so pretty and love the Asian look with the pretty paper, you're lucky having a traveling daughter!! My daughter doesn't travel a lot but she buys me tons of paper pads every time she sees new ones, So I've got a big collection of papers too
