Anyway, a recent collection over the last few years is my felt animals. There's a little studio near where I used to get the bus to work, and I could spend a small fortune there - even with the discount he always gives me. The two gulls in the photo (adult and juvenile herring gull) are what I asked DH to give me for Christmas last year. This year he is giving me a walrus, but a badger also fell into my basket when I cycled over a couple of weeks ago to collect the walrus. I have a turtle, a rat, a seal, an elephant, a chicken, a bat, some grey stones (I grew up in a town called Greystones) and various other bits - robins for my Christmas tree. The juvenile gull is made from Blue-faced Leicester, and I knit a sweater with the same type of wool last year, very cosy. I know in real life the juveniles are much more dappled or mottled, but I stuck with my inspiration.
I used Anita's TLC for my base, and created a scene with MFT's seaside seagulls, coloured to match my felt ones. The sentiment is on some wood DP, and I added a sand dollar just to finish it off. I did think I might be able to make a scene with felt die-cuts - but I have no black!!! Or grey, if it comes to it...

What a beautiful card featuring your gulls. Sounds like you have quite a collection of felt animals...I can see how they would be addicting. I took a Comm Ed class a couple of years ago and have 2 felt items that I made. Great job on the tri-shutter design. TFS..

What a fun and interesting collection of felt animals, Sabrina! Such fun to find out what we chose!!! Your card is really fun (and easier a second time, too?) with the gulls. TFS, mf!!

The gulls are so cute -- I can see why you'd build a collection of these felt creatures. The card is both a fab reflection of your collection and a wonderful example of the fancy fold.

You've got a nice collection and I know you love felt, my DH has a beautiful felt sheep and I've got a pretty grey stone so I can imagine yours take a big place in your house, Thank you for playing with another beautiful card in my challenge, this fold is the easiest I think to make a tri-shutter and I love this pretty beach scene with your fun seagulls
Felt animals! One thing I haven’t collected. I did all kinks of rabbits for awhile, though, love how you decorated and were inspired to create this lovely tri shutter card.

I love your tri-shutter card and your perfect images for your wool felted animals! Oh my friends that I swap ATC's with wanted to take these classes and I declined- I do not need another obsession! I would pay good $$$ if someone else made them though! I have just one, a red cardinal!

Cool card fold that really gives ample space to build a scene with out being too bulky to mail. Your felted animals sound intriguing. I tried felting with wool yarn on clothing but half blind people should not be allowed to do this craft - it HURTS when you stick those felting needles through your finger instead of the wool!!

Oh I do like your triple shutter card with the nautical theme, Sabrina, love the sentiment on the wood dp, too! I will have to look around for an Aussie felt animal for you~

Wonderful fancy fold card with a great scene. Lots of details here to take in. Love the "you go, gull" sentiment. I'm always drawn to that type of thing.
