For the F4A609 challenge (on butterfly wings), I die cut 2 butterflies from paint chips. Then I die cut them again from white cardstock and glued them together (to cover up the writing on the back of the paint chips). I also die cut a small funky flower from paint chips and from white cardstock.
For the MIX455 (use gold) challenge, I added gold (and brown) metallic sequins to the butterflies. I also cut a strip of black-and-white floral SU DSP and adhered it inside the card; then I colored some of the flowers and leaves on the DSP using Tombow markers and a gold gel pen. For the mixed media I used SU stamp ink, markers (Sharpie and Tombow), pens (gold metallic), and yellow Stickles.
I cut off about 1/3rd of the A2 card front and adhered the butterflies and flower along the edge so the DSP inside the card was visible. I stamped "Celebrate" and added an exclamation point with a pink Sharpie marker. Since the "Celebrate" had all sorts of dots around it, I added pink dots in and around the butterflies and flower using the pink Sharpie marker. Finally I added a wavy line on each side of the sentiment using yellow Stickles glitter glue. Thanks for the fun challenges and the great inspiration!!!
