I've used a gel print bg and stenciled 2 corners with a paste from gel mixed with shoe wax, the other corners are stickers, the oval is layered with a black oval, I've colored this first with metallic brush markers, stenciled over this with a mix of: gold paint, gold glitter and gel medium, finished the details with posca markers

I love your stencilled oval panel, like rich brocade. Shoe wax - how creative! I have a pottery seahorse my dad made for me, and he used shoe wax for polishing it.

If shoe wax is the color you want, why not use it. I used Nail polish for the same reason. I love all the gold on your BG. The gold rose is beautiful and letting the DP show in the background of the oval makes a really pretty focal point.
