To meet the requirements for the MIX455 challenge (use gold), I die cut the wildflowers using shimmery gold cardstock. I also swiped some metallic gold dimensional fabric paint through a stencil using a spatula. (For the mixed media I used stamp ink, water, paint, and Liquid Pearls.)
For the TLC869 challenge, I too grabbed for my SU Print Pattern BG stamp. However, I didn't realize the lighter colors of inks wouldn't show the water stamping, so I goofed there, and my 2nd/cardstock panel did NOT come out at all. The Print Pattern BG did show up well in the purplish colored DOI on the watercolor paper, though. It also shows faintly in the yellowish ink on the watercolor panel. Live and learn!
I sponged seedless preserves, tattered rose, and wild honey DOIs on the watercolor panel and splattered it with pumice stone DOI. Then I spritzed my Print Pattern background stamp with water and stamped it on the watercolor panel. (Again, off-stamping the Print Pattern stamp on cardstock afterwards didn't work... went straight to the trash... almost none of the ink transferred.) I cut down the watercolor panel once dry and adhered it to the front of an A7 card base.
I die cut the wildflowers from shimmery gold cardstock, adhered them to the card front, and dotted them with various colors of Liquid Pearls. I die cut the faith sentiment and adhered it to the front of the card. Finally I used a floral stencil and spread gold dimensional fabric paint through parts of it in the corners of the card. (The gold paint stenciling is why I took the photo of the card at a weird angle -- so the shiny gold paint would be visible.) Thanks for looking and for the FUN challenges!!!

Favourited. Beautiful background, beautiful stencilling and I absolutely LOVE the pearly accents on the wildflowers.
I went too pale with the salvaged patina on my print pattern, so I know what you mean! On my second print it barely showed. But I can see the difference in your yellow area where the water stamping is.
