This week's color challenge colors are Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, and Pumpkin Pie with a dessert of Halloween. What fun colors!
I cut different sized strips of Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green and added these to a base panel then die cut it with a rectangle framelit. To complete my backdrop, I dry embossed it with a vine embossing folder.
I don't have any Pumpkin Pie cardstock so I dragged my ink pad across some white cs to create the paper for my pumpkins. The two pumpkins on the sides are made with three ovals from an oval punch. The middle one was made with an oval framelit. I then sponged the edges of the pumpkins with Gorgeous Grape for some definition. I fussy cut stems for all the pumpkins and die cut some leaves for the pumpkins. The middle pumpkin is popped up with foam tape.
I look forward to seeing your creations for this week's color challenge!
Thanks for looking!

So creative! Love how you created the background. The embossing added a nice touch. Clever way to improvise with the ink pad swiping. Your pumpkins are terrific. Well done with the challenge colors. Fun card and great ideas!

Very cool card and bg; but I LOVE the look of your pumpkins. Your dragging created such a beautiful textural pattern. And, I am so impressed at how you created those great pumpkins with punches and die cuts. So creative! Wonderful card.

I see comments above raving about the pumpkins, and they are great! But what really caught my eye is that stunning background! I love how you cut strips, assembled them, die cut and then dry embossed. So much interest going on there, and the vine design is perfect behind the pumpkins. Love this!
