Like some others, I only got one usable print from this technique, but I liked how it looked...it reminded me of beach glass, especially after brushing some Shabby Shutters over the print. For the shell, I used the die as a stencil first, then die cut, adding a shadow cut and some Wink of Stella along the right side. I tied three strands of the twine in the corner, leaving some slack for a relaxed feel.

Your print is beautiful and makes a wonderful back panel for your seashell. Your comments were reassuring that I wasn’t the only one that had trouble getting a second print.

What a wonderful choice of stamp, Faith. It really does look like craquelure - I have a few pottery pieces. This just makes me think of summers by the sea.
