Thank you, Julie, for selecting Ashley (amacy0411) as our newest Featured Stamper. I enjoyed walking through the gallery and chose Simple Joy.... I loved both the color, hue, and layout. Also the profound emphasis on the word, Joy.
I changed the color story, the focal element, and splattered the background. The star was diecut 5 times to add dimension.
Have a listen to Follow the Star for a wonderful retelling of the Christmas story. The YouTube bot would not let me link this video. Search for the Woodman Valley Chapel 'Follow the Star' from December 24, 2017. Promise it will bless you.
And congratulations, Ashley! Enjoy your Featured Stamper gallery. Thanks for stopping by.

I love both Ashley's card and yours. I love that one was light in color and yours had a night time sky and used that glorious star of wonder to dot your j!! And the light penetrated the darkness and the darkness is never able to extinguish the light. The absolute Truth of the gospel and God's gift to the world. So symbolized in both of these beautiful cards.

I LOVE how you’ve taken two key components of the Christmas story, Susan, and created a simple, yet profound beauty of your own. I love the colours you chose and the sparkle that both the star and spatters convey...like sprinkles of joy as we anticipate the celebration of one of the most incredible events in history.
