I smeared Distress Oxide inks directly onto an acrylic block. Spritzed generously with water and stamped onto a prepared watercolor panel and let sit for an hour. Removed block and let the paper dry. Using stamp platform stamped the Dina Wakeley bird onto a branch from Cheep Talk and sentiment.

Gorgeous! Love the background you created with distress inks. Thanks for mentioning how you did this - I always remove the inked/spritzed block immediately after smooshing. Your colors are more intense and vibrant than my efforts, so I will do it your way! The simple sketched bird design is the perfect way to showcase both the background and the stamped image. TFS!
