I skipped the bonus points for fall and just went with the gold - I need Christmas cards more. It's not very typical mixed media looking, but I used Sakura stardust and regular gel pens on the embossed black layer. The embossed poinsettia petals were rubbed with some metallic rub-ons and distress ink wiped over them. The sentiment is gilding flakes burnished onto a sentiment cut from double-sided tape stuck to thin card. The base was wiped around the edge with Encore gold and embossed with gold EP. I also used a black Spectrun Noir sparkle pen all round the edge, and added Stickles to the centre of the poinsettia.
Believe it or not, the dots on the embossed panel were a gold pen - they look more pearly in the end. Obviously not pens intended for use on dark card!

Such an elegant Christmas card! Clever, clever idea for using the gilding flakes on double-side tape to create that wonderful sentiment .... and, oh, the time you must have taken to add the stardust and gel pens to that beautiful embossed background!
