I was nervous about this week's Watercolor Wednesday challenge. I have trouble with wreaths, but this was really easy. I chose the middle one because it looked the most simple. The hardest part was the pinecones. I'm glad I have a Christmas card made!

Very unique card with the craft paper and the mousse. Your watercoloring is very subtle and soft on your wreath. Beautiful combination with the craft. Thanks for playing in the challenge.

yes, I think my pine cones are not really all that triangular shaped and I just told my self that they are tucked into the greens so you cant see the whole thing lol. This looks fabulous. i love the softness of the colors you chose a lot Jen.

I too was wary about this practice! I was pleasantly surprised at how fun it was. Your wreath is fabulous! Such elegant framing! Your recipient is going to love getting a hand-painted wreath from you!

I remembered we learned how to paint all these different greens last winter (WCW02 so looked back at that but putting them in a circle definitely added a new twist! You kept your wreath nicely in the round with a super variation of colors and greenery styles.
