Our Teaparty this week is for a young woman recovering from a serious car accident. Our hostess, Jen (Jennifran) asked us to use humor, baby blue and black, and Halloween.
I've had this marvelous large TooMuchFun rubber stamp hoody forever and it's been waiting to audition creativity. I inked this stamp with VersaClair 'Nocturne' and embossed with the 'Shabby Blue' embossing enamel. I used a Copic Fine Liner .25 pen to define the edges. Ciara is stamped on the left front with the Making Memories Magnetic little letters. I colored the cuffs, bottom bands, and zipper with a couple shades of Copics. There is a safety pin 'pull' at the top with a bit of cording. Opening the hoody, she'll find a whole lotta love thanks to Tim Holtz/Sizzix heart die.
Thanks for your comments. I appreciate it very much.

Oh Susan, what a perfect card for Ciara, love, love, love the soft blue hoodie and all the embellishments (and esp that corded zipper pull!). And then, to open it up and see all the hearts, how extra special!

Absolutely fun, adorable, loving, heartfelt, awesome! I agree with Polly, why haven't you used this before? I love all the creativity on this from splitting open the front so it opens like a hoodie to the heart lining to the personalized name to that GREAT pull tag. All the details in the design -- so fabulous. And I already saw the back...so the whole creation is AWESOME and perfect for this Tea Party. Love this.
