I made this card for a friend who is living in the midst of the KNP fire in Sequoia National Park. She lives in the foothills and has reported that the drought is killing many of the foothill oaks and so she's been watering those on her property to try and save them. Now they are in the path of the fire, although there seems to be some steady fire lines holding in many areas of the fire.
I stamped the oak tree on watercolor paper, brushed some water onto the paper and then colored a block with watercolor markers and spritzed. Used watercolor pencils for additional color. TFL
