You will write, 500 times, 'I will NOT lose my temper.' This was Anne's punishment when she broke a slate over Gilbert's head, after he called her CARROTS! I just knew, at that moment, that they were destined for each other.
I played with Marabu Easy Marble and stencil on my gel plate a while back. Messy but kind of fun. Easy Marble is solvent based so one must clean a lot. I had bought this IO set, thinking it would be cute for Easter at some point. I stamped a recipe for carrot cake in the background, covering the whole panel...hard to see. I stamped it in smoky slate....hahahaha, 'slate'! I just put that together.

I have always loved the banter between Anne and Gilbert - so fun! And I love what you have created around the carrots - so very creative and beautifully done. I agree with Liz, then the pom pom trim - wow, how cool is that!

How fun & whimsical, Jean! Had to laugh about the writing on the chalkboard part..I had to do that in 3rd grade. Mouthy little troublemaker sat behind me & the teacher couldn't make him be quiet. So anyone who talked to him, had to write on the board "I will not talk to Thomas". I will never forget his name, lol.
