This card is for 2 challenges - Colour Challenge using Real Red, Bermuda Bay & Basic Black. I skipped dessert this week.
Also for this week's Tea Party Challenge for Rex, the father of Gracie who is in need of some cheer. I inked up my new stamp set and then sponged around the stamped ferns. Stamped and die cut the sentiment. Polly asked us to use 4 of the letters of the word, smile, on our cards.
S - stamps
M - masculine card
I - ink
L - leaves

Beautiful design using this week's colors. Love the pops of red surrounded by that beautiful blue. Beautiful sponging too. Such a sweet sentiment. I am sure Rex will be cheered by this lovely card.

Your sponging is so soft and delicate, Sue, and adds exactly what this cards needs to make those berries and leaves Pop! Wonderful sentiment for the occasion~

Lovely card, Sue. I like how the berries and foliage are more softly stamped and then the aqua sponged over them....makes the warm message the true focal point.

Sue, what a fabulous card you've created for Rex! It's so wonderful that it's a larger card, too! The colors are beautiful and the way you bordered the sentiment with all the leaves and sponging is so striking! Rex will love it. Thank you!

Terrific ideas for both challenges. Love how you used the challenge colors. Very nice. Terrific sentiment. It even has the word "smile". I like how you left just a little white space around the sentiment. Great card with a lovely design.
