I found this acrylic painted sheet in my stash I had done on my Gel Plate. It was streaky and otherwise a throw away but I decided to change that. Using this Evergreen EB folder, I embossed it and then I gently sanded the panel to reveal the white of the paper below. I still wanted more contrast, so I used my brayer to add the white paint over the raised areas.
thanks for looking

This is proof we shouldn't throw things away! What a beautiful card you ended up with. The embossing, sanding, and brayering gave it such fabulous depth!!!

I love that technique of sanding over embossed paper. I have saved some backgrounds that might have gone to the trash to do the very same technique. This turned out gorgeous!

Another gorgeous bg, Karen! This time a plethora of pine needles done in bright shades of blue and lime green. The white die cut sentiment stand out so nicely.
