Color Challenge hosted by Barbara: So Saffron, Terracotta Tile, Cherry Cobbler with the dessert option being Dessert! It was a challenge with this combo, but I like that. It stretches me and takes me out of my comfort zone. I thought & thought about how to incorporate dessert on my card and somehow thought of using a beverage. That idea led me to use hot cocoa for dessert with these fun stamps. The images are heat embossed in black and the sentiment is heat embossed in Cherry Cobbler; and then I watercolored the mug. Terracotta Tile maker was scribbled on an acrylic block and the ink was picked up from that for the mug, as I do not have this color in an ink pad. Used Cherry Cobbler around heart and So Saffron inside the heart. Added a piece of a paper doily sitting on my desk. Friends do add sweetness & fun in life. TFL

Glad you rose to the challenge, Diane! You used this week's colors perfectly and got in dessert as well! Cute image of cocoa and marshmallows, and I love the sentiment that goes with!

Such a sweet card with that touch of gingham and offsetting the doily. Love how you did that! You have the best older stamp sets! This card makes me feel warm all over!
